Robert Daley

Robert "Ike" Daley, former resident of Birmingham, died Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Veterans Hospital in Reno, Nevada, where he had been a patient the past 10 days.

Robert Daley was born near Birmingham, the son of Frank O. and Ruth Ann Daley. He was married but later divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Fairfield, and Harold now serving with the U.S. Forces in South Korea; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Mae Woodrow of Fairfield and Mrs. Cleo Boe.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

The funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. Kenneth Suetterlin officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery where military rites were conducted by the Haney Brannan Legion Post 181 . . . . .
