1924 Train Station

GARDNER

I am looking for the death certificate of my ggrandfather, D.M. Gardner. He died August 16, 1924 on a train in Iowa on his way from the Mayo Clinic to Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Arkansas records show his place of death but it is very hard to read - according to a librarian reading to me over the phone it looks like "Lounior, Iowa". Does this suggest an actual place name to anyone?? It seems logical that it would be a train station or on a train route of 1924. I wonder if it is Lorimar, Union Co., IA?? Do you have any other suggestions? I expect I need a location or county to apply for the certificate.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated,
Katharine
