I, too, have a PAID membership to NewspaperArchives.com -- and I have contacted them REPEATEDLY over the last month and a half. I calculate that their site went down about 10-28-2009. They gave me the same answer about rescanning, etc -- I kept contacting them via email. They were apologetic, and finally gave me an additional two months to tack on to my 12 month membership. So now I have that extra two months, but during the two months time there site is not working properly. Finally a very nice representative lady called me on the telephone here at my home. We talked and she apologized. I told her about the problems I was experiencing and she assured me it would get to the proper techie people. That was before Thanksgiving. The site is still down! My two months extension is UP at the end of DEC. At that time, I will be contacting them again and again and again UNTIL they get their service back up. It is a great RESOURCE TOOL when the pages are working. It is frustrating for sure! I totally agree. Linda Ziemann, an Iowa girl now living in North Texas.
