I am a granddaughter of Albert Houtsma and Anna Wibben (daughter of George). I know that my father, Cornelius Houtsma, was born on a farm one mile south of Orange City (Hwy. 10)on what I know as the Carnes Blacktop. That probably isn't the birth site of either Albert Houtsma or Anna Wibben (my grandmother) or her siblings, but it possibly could be. Would the census identification for a particular piece of land remain the same for each decade's census? Wilma, I do have your book and hope to look for more information on George Wibben's ancestors when I have a chance. Thanks for your thorough publication and the hard work you continue to do in the genealogy field.
