Alva McClure aged almost 17 son of W. D. McClure residing half a mile east of Hawarden, died at the Calliope Home last Friday morning. He has been very low for nearly a year past with this fatal malady, but has borne up under it with almost surprising fortitude. Alva was a bright boy, beloved by all and will be greatly missed by this many warm friends.
