Yesterday evening the sad news was received that a house of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hofmeyer under Hospers, parents of Mrs. A. J. Sneltje, the diphtheria throat disease has broken out. A 13-year-old daughter, Nettie, who walked through home on Sunday, healthy and well, has already succumbed to the disease. Nettie made many friends in this place, where she visited her sister several times, who deeply regret her departure. When Nettie died, five other children were sick with the dreaded ailment
