Funeral services for Louis De Boer, 67, were held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home here and at 11 A.M. at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church with the Reverend Louis Tammenga officiating. Burial was in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.

Mr. De Boer died Thursday at the Sioux Center Hospital following a short illness.

He was born On November 8, 1899, in The Netherlands. Mr. De Boer married the former Gerdina Vreeman in Sioux Center on February 3, 1926 and had lived most of his life in this area. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Gerdina Vreeman; a daughter, Gloria (Mrs. Verdean Wynja); one grandchild, Pamela Joy; the following brothers and sisters - Tracy (Mrs. Ed Terpstra) of Capitola, California, Etta (Mrs. Gerrit Harthoorn) of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Frank of Crookston, Minnesota, Chris of Oklahoma City Oklahoma, and Tillie (Mrs. Paul Coauetta)

Three daughters and two sisters: Elizabeth (Mrs. Fred Andringa) and Dorothy (Mrs. John De Boer) preceded him in death.
