SERVICES HELD FOR FRANK MAK, 64, BURIAL AT HULL

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Kraai Funeral Home and American Reformed Church in Hull for Francis “Frank” Henry Mak, 64, who died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls.

He was a veteran of World War I. On November 26, 1919, she married Helen Isebrands at George. They lived in George until 1930, when they moved to Hull, where they operated Mak's Cafe from 1933 to 1942. They then moved to Sioux City and later to California where Mrs. Mak was a cook at a naval base during World War II. In 1946, they returned to Hull, where they operated the American Legion Bowling Alley for 2 years. Frank passed away March 18, 1961.

Survivors are the widow, Helen; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Geraldine) Bush of Springfield, South Dakota and Mrs. D. James (Dorothy) Hymans of Hull, 10 grandchildren, five sisters and a brother.
