Peter Houtsmsa died at his home here on Saturday of last week. Deceased was nearly seventy years of age and had been ill for some time past. He was born in Sexbierum Netherlands. At the age of twenty-five he was united in marriage to the widow who survives him. In 1888 the family came to this country and made this locality their home. Besides the widow deceased is survived by his two sons, Albert and Cornelius, both of whom reside near Ocheyedan. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. Engelsman.
