Henry Heininge passed away at his home in the west part of town last Monday noon. He had been very sick for several days but no one realized till Monday morning that the end was so near. His brother arrived from Minnesota ten minutes after he passed away. He is survived by his wife and three children, one brother and three sisters in Denmark. During his sickness he suffered intensely but bore it all with Christian fortitude. He had been a resident of Ireton only since last June, and was by trade a plumber. During his short stay here he had won a large number of friends. He was a man of deep religious convictions and splendid moral character. The funeral, which was very largely attended, was held from the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Masters officiating.
