At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Petersen, of 324 Forty-fifth street Rock Island, on Sunday, occurred the death of Mrs. Julia Buergel, in the 72d year and six month of her age.

The deceased was a native of Germany, but had lived for 45 years in Davenport. She had been a widow for many years. She sustained a stroke several months ago, at which time she was removed to the home of the daughter in Rock Island, where she passed away. Beside Mrs. Petersen of Rock Island, three other daughters and three sons survive.

The funeral was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, with interment at Fairmount cemetery.
