February 3, 1945-March 4, 2021

BETTENDORF-Phil Schwister died March 4, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st at First Presbyterian Church, 1702 Iowa St., Davenport. Masks are required.

Phil worked for Cochrane Compressor in Rock Island for 33 years. He loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, woodworking, golfing, playing cards, and cheering on his children and grandchildren in their athletics and beyond.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Ann Schwister; daughter, Julie Grothusen; son, Jeff Bayer, and their families.
