DIES IN MISSOURI

Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 9, for a former Sheridan resident, Delmar E. Lynch, 57.

Lynch, who had been living in Belton, Mo., died on Saturday, Aug. 7, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1918 in Malcom, the son of Ernest and Frances (Cogley) Lynch, and farmed in the Sheridan area until 1952, when he and his family moved to Belton.

He was married to Pauline Combs of Brooklyn on Dec. 15, 1940.

Surviving Delmar Lynch are his wife Pauline; three sons, Allen of Dawson, Minn., and Michael and Thomas, both of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Nodine of Oswego, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Helen Lamb of Grinnell; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Leda Mae.

Funeral services were held at the George Chapel in Belton. Pallbearers were Roger Lamb, Walter Watts, Burton Foote, Allen Foote, Dennis Kaisand and Charles Barker.

Burial was in the Belton Cemetery.
