Grinnell – Ceann Bailey, 48, went home to be with God on November 14, 2008. She was born on September 10, 1960 to Kenneth Bailey and the late Beverly Bailey. She was an avid outdoorsman and always lived life to the fullest.
Ceann is survived by her daughter, Shelly Steingrabe; two sons, Robert Steingrabe and Jeremiah Steingrabe; three brothers, Keith (Nancy) Bailey, Kevin (Dixie) Bailey and Ken (Shelly) Bailey; her father, Kenneth Bailey; two grandchildren; two nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Bailey; her grandmothers, Hazel Bailey and Pauline Sparks and her grandfathers, Lloyd Bailey and Russell Sparks.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St SW in Altoona. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Santiago United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Franklin Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Ceann.
