I am looking for any and all information and pictures on Jacob Hengtgen (Hintgen) and his wife Wilhelmine Walter and family who lived on a farm near Merrill in Plymouth County from 1888 to 1910. They later moved to a farm between Jeffers and Storden Minnesota. They had 13 children of which 11 survived to adulthood all in Merrill, Iowa. Will gladly share information if someone is working on this family. Jacob was the second child of Bernard and Anna (Reistroffer) Hintgen and left for western Iowa in 1885. He married Wilhelmine Walter we believe in Sioux City in 1886. It appears from the information I have found so far that they were renting the farm. We would like a plat of that farm if possible.
