SPEER, HOLMES, MURRAY, FOLMER, SCOTT

My ancestors family of Jesse and Sarah Speer lived in Page County Iowa at least in the 1860 Census.
Silas and Mary Speer (son of Jesse)
Hiram and Rebecca Speer (son of Jesse)
Henry and Hester A Holmes (daughter of Jesse)
Henry and Mary Folmer (daughter of Jesse)
Jeremiah and Amanda Scott (daughter of Jesse)
Perry and Hannah (Holmes) Scott (granddaughter of Jesse
-Silas and Hiram Speer are listed as eligible for Civil War
East River Township,
-Question: i found a record of Perry and Hannah Holmes Scott marriage and Jesse Speer is listed as the Justice of the Peace who married them,. I also found a newspaper article from the Clarinda newspaper in 1898 that listed the first 50 marriages in Page County and two of them had Jesse Speer listed as Justice of the Peace (Perry Murray and Hannah Holmes Nov 27, 1859 and Henry Laub to Sarah Jane Shearer March 6, 1870.

Is there a list somewhere about who was JP in Page county during that time period. My ancestor Jesse Speer is plausible for the marriage of Murray/Holmes since Hannah Holmes was his grandaughter.

Also- trying to find more records on my 2x great grandfather Silas Speer who was in the Civil War from Iowa.
