In Response To: Re: Henry Willick (Madonna M. Harms)

My greatgrandfather, John Henry Willick (or possibly just Henry Willick) grew up in Iowa City. We are unable to find any dates of his birth or information on his birthparents. We are wondering if he had been an Orphan Train rider and possibly from New York. Not sure if Willick was his given surname or his adopted one. He married Mary Godey in Iowa City and they had 9 children. I don't know that he ever moved to California. If he did, it would have been to the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.
Thanking you in advance for any possible information which you may have.

I notice that you have had an inquiry from Robin Lopez. Her grandfather Perley Willick and my grandfather Roy Willick were brothers.
