Alta Mae Webster was born August 22, 1880, and died May 31, 1948. Her age was 67 years, 9 months and 9 days.

Alta Mae Yarrington was born at Sioux City, Iowa, and moved with her parents when she was three years old to O'Brien county. She lived all her life in this community until her marriage to Sam Webster on August 30, 1909. She lived about 16 years at Sioux City and then because of failing health moved back to Archer and resided with her mother until her mother's death. She has lived in Sanborn for a period of four years up to the time of her death.

To this union were born four children, three of whom preceded Mrs. Webster in death. Her husband also passed away in 1940. A son, Lynn, of Althe, Kansas, survives. There are two sisters, Mrs. Fred Webster of Archer and Sadie Anderson of Spencer. Mrs. Webster was a kind and loving wife and mother and good neighbor and will be greatly missed by friends and relatives. She has been an invalid for years but never complained of her condition.
