MRS. LEWIS UHL, 82, Mapleton, Iowa Died Feb. 21 nursing home. Funeral 10 a.m. Feb. 26 St Mary Catholic Church at Danbury, the Rev. Edward D. Hoffman, Burial, parish cemetery. Rosary 8:30 p.m. Feb. 25, Walter Funeral Home.

Born June 15, 1889, near Mapleton. Former Celia Prokop, married May 14, 1910, at Danbury, lived in Mapleton area all her life; on farm until death of Mr. Uhl Feb. 21, 1970, in Sioux City; to nursing home. Member St. Mary Catholic Church, Rosary Society.

Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Parker of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sons, George J. of Battle Creek, Gilbert F. of Mapleton, Paul of Temple City, Calif., Louis of Alambra, Calif., 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
