Albert F. Dalberg was born at Onawa, Iowa July 3, 1894 and departed this life at the St. Vincent Hospital in Sioux City on March 19, 1931 after a brief illness and relapse of influenza at the time of his death he was 36 years 8 months 16 days old.

He grew to manhood in Onawa and enlisted in the World War from which he received an honorable discharge. In the year of 1920 he was united in marriage to Miss Sadie Shipley of Ute. To this union one daughter was born. For the past seven years they have resided in Sioux City. He leaves to mourn his departure his widow, Mrs. Sadie Dalberg, his daughter Doris Dalberg, his mother Mrs. Soren Johnson of Onawa, one sister Mrs. Geo Oliver of Chicago, besides a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral was held from the Christian Church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the pastor, Rev. Orval E. Walker in charge.

Mrs. Walter Plinske sang accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Phil Cato. The local legion had charge of the military rites of the burial.
