I am seeking any information about Nancy P.Thorne Rose Doran, Francis Rose, Mary Nancy Clark, WIlliam Francis Rose, Robert Burton Lewis, Neal W. Doran, Mabel Doran. I know that Francis Rose and Nany P. Thorne were married in Mills County, Iowa. They are in the 1870 census with their sons William Francis and Robert Burton. By 1880, this family disappears. Robert was adopted out to the Lewis family. William Francis appears in the State Reform School at Eldora. It was said both parents ran off and were never seen again, but Nancy P. Doran reappears in Malvern by 1900 with her son Neal W. Doran. She lived there until the 1920 census. In the 1920 census she appears in William Francis Household. I have also located her gravestone in the Malvern cemetery next to her daughter Mabel Doran, who died at a young age. Any information about these people would be greatly appreciated. It was believed that Mary Nancy Clark was a mother to William Francis Rose and Robert Burton Lewis. We are now wondering if she was possibly Nancy's mother or Francis' second wife. We have been unable to find divorce records for Francis and Nancy, marriage records for Nancy or Francis after their original marriage. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
