Ezekiel S. Timmons lived in Jefferson, Marshall, Iowa in 1880 and is listed in the US Census records. Also listed with him are his children:
William J age 20
Samuel (K)age 18
Cora age 16
Ella age 13
Freddie age 6
with a servant and her children:
Lucy Kent age 35
Flora age 14
John age 12Cora B. is the one I am interested in finding.
date of birth was 15 Aug 1864 in Grant, Newton, IN
date of death was 17 Apr 1883 In IowaThe last place she lived with her family was in Jefferson, Marshall, Iowa.
Cora's mother, Louisa Shively Timmons, had contracted tuberculosis and died on 27 Sep 1876 and was buried in Marshall, Iowa from what I understand.
Ezekiel moved his family to Newton county, Indiana before 15 Aug 1864 the date when Cora B . was born. They continued to live there until at least 3 Feb 1874 when her youngest brother was born in Newton county, IN. By 1876 Ezekiel had moved his family back to Marshall county, IA.
I am sure of Cora's date of death, but have found no certificate of death, no indication of where she was living when she died, or any information about her death and burial place. Any help would be appreciated.
