Services Set for Rodney Grandfield, 16

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Lorimor this Friday, February 14, for 16-year-old Rodney Grandfield of Winterset, who died at the University Hospitals in Iowa City this week. He had undergone surgery there last Thursday.

Rodney Grandfield was born in Madison County on May 20, 1958, son of John and Helen Swan Grandfield. He was raised in the Lorimor area.

Survivors include his parents; a brother Dan, of Winterset; a sister, Sheryl Ainslie, and a brother, Jack, both of Dayton, Iowa; a brother, James of Allentown, N.H.; and a brother John of Waukegon, Ill. Also surviving are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Swan and Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Grandfield, all of Lorimor.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. this Friday, February 14, at the Lorimor Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mr. Colton of Dayton, Iowa officiating. Burial will be in the Lorimor Cemetery.
