Sarah E. McKinzie was born in Madison County, Iowa on Nov. 2, 1856, and departed this life Sept. 23, 1909, aged 52 years, 10 months and 21 days.
She was married Dec. 5, 1872, to Smith Poffinbarger. To this union were born four children, three sons and one daughter. She leaves a husband, three children, mother, and four brothers, besides many friends, to mourn her loss.
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God”.
