Richard Calvin Dickey

Mesa, AZ - Richard Calvin Dickey, 78, (formerly Ankeny, IA) left this world to be with the Lord on October 6, 2018. Born in Winterset, IA to Lloyd Dickey and Belle (Duff) Dickey, he was a 1958 graduate of Greenfield High. Rich was a retired driver for Standard Forwarding Co.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sisters, Darlene Trowbridge and Della Earhart; brother-in-law, James Trowbridge; step-daughter, Cara McVay; and step-son, Jason McVay. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jannice McVay-Dickey, Mesa, AZ; daughter, Annette (Dirk) Nord, Ankeny, IA; son, David (Kathy) Dickey, Dubuque, IA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five nieces; five nephews; brothers-in-law, Cyrus Earhart, Stuart, IA and Butch (Deborah) Stewart, Runnells, IA; sister-in-law, Susie VanSickle, SanTan Valley, AZ; and many friends.

Funeral service will be on November 17, 2018 at Greenfield United Methodist Church, 108 S W 5th Street, Greenfield, IA at 1:00 PM. Cremation burial at Greenfield cemetery.

Mesa - Richard Calvin Dickey, 78 of Mesa, AZ. May 20, 1940 - October 6, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held October 13, 2018 at Red Mountain United Methodist Church, 2936 N. Power Road at 2:00 pm. Memorials will be sent to Hospice of the Valley.
