Marriage record

I found that I have to request a marriage certificate in person. Is there anyone that could pick up the certificate for me as I live in Texas?
The marriage document is for George Grant and Cora Demarast (Demerest) married 10 October 1883 in Lyon County, Iowa. No town is listed in the index I was looking at.
I was told the genealogical copy is $5.00. I'd be happy to pay for someone to go to the Lyon County Recorder at Rock Rapids to see if this record is available.
