In 1900, Henry Dings is enumerated in Centennial, Lyon County, Iowa as a single farmer renting his land with a partner from Holland.

By 1906, there is an article in the local newspaper. Apparently, he returned to Holland.

"Larchwood --- Henry Dings left for the old country the first of the week."
