Apparently he had an estate. Linn County Iowa probate records should be searched.

Estate of Earl Conley. deceased. On application R. J. Conley is appointed administrator as prayed. Bond J500.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the undersigned has been on the 21st day of January, 1914, duly appointed and qualified as Administrator of the estate of Earl Conley late of Linn County, Iowa, deceased. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment, and those having claim against the same will present them duly authenticated, to the undersigned for allowance. H. J.
