Obituary.
MRS. J.H. KEPLER.
Died at her home near Robins, Iowa, Jan. 14th, 1895, Mrs. J.H. Kepler, aged twenty three years, eight months and twenty days.
The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Bunting and was born three miles north of Marion where she grew to womanhood. She was married to J.H. Kepler, Nov. 29th, 1888. After her marriage she went with her husband to Kansas where they remained seven months, when they returned to this county where they have since resided. The deceased was an obedient daughter, a true devoted wife and a loving mother. She possessed a bright and happy nature that greatly endeared her to all those with whom she associated. Her short and uneventful life has been one of activity and usefulness. She was greatly devoted to her family and took great pleasure in administering to their wants. She had always enjoyed good health and her recent illness lasted but two or three days and was not considered serious ill a few hours before her death, when hemorrhage of the stomach set in. She was conscious till the last but did not realize that the death angel was so near to call her from her home where she was so much needed. She leaves a husband, three children, a father and mother, one brother and sister, and many other friends and relatives to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held Jan. 16th, at Wesley Chapel, conducted by Rev. Walter Piper, attended by a large number of neighbors and sympathizing friends.
