Last Friday W. W Brandow died at his home in est Whittemore township of pleuro pneumonia at about 50 years of age. He was always considered strong and healthy but none are exempt from the death angel. He was a prosperous farmer and was highly spoken of as a neighbor and good citizen, and deep sorrow is felt at his demise. Two of his children were in attendance at Morningside College, James Merril and a daughter, and they arrived Saturday not knowing their father was dead. The funeral was from the house Tuesday and interment was in the Algona cemetery. The family came from Illinois several years ago.
