Funeral service for Eberhard F. Prull, 58, Langworthy business man, was held Saturday at St. Matthew's Lutheran church in Monticello, Rev. H. L. Adix, pastor, officiating. Pallbearers were Clifford Arduser, Ernest Ricklefs, Alfred Ommen, Carl Dirks, Herman Ricklefs and Clarence Hayen, all of Monticello. Burial was made in Zion cemetery.

Mr. Prull was born at Marx, Ostfriesland, Germany, March 10, 1888. He had spent the last 44 years of his life in the Langworthy vicinity. He was married Feb. 12, 1912 to Marie Gesine Reuter. He died April 16 at a Monticello hospital following a long illness.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Gerke Hanken, Mrs. Harm Bunting and Mrs. George Arduser; seven grandchildren; five brothers, Heinrich, Henry, John and Eilert Prull, Monticello; and a sister, Mrs. Adolph Dirks, Monticello. A brother and sister preceded him in death.

After coming to this country, Mr. Prull operated a farm and was also engaged in the business of a carpenter. He entered the lumber and coal business in 1920 with his brother, Gerd. He was a lifelong member of the Evangelical Lutheran church.
