Raleigh Stephen Yoder, 34, of Iowa City, IA, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona, IA. Following the graveside, a gathering will be held from 12-2 PM, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Raleigh Yoder Memorial Fund.

Raleigh was born on January 10, 1987, in Iowa City, the son of Bradford C. and Janice L. (Delozier) Yoder. He graduated from Iowa City West High School in 2005; Raleigh attended courses at Kirkwood Community College and Indian Hills Community College. He worked in various restaurants around the Iowa City area, the longest being with Devotay and most recently, with Brix. From an early age Raleigh had a passion for all things in the entertainment industry. He loved movies, films, music, Britney and literature. Raleigh loved his husky, Leona; their favorite place to be together was by the river at Squire Point. He was a kind friend to many with an easy smile and contagious laugh.

Raleigh is survived by his two siblings, Kirk (Jennifer) Fagen of Keota, IA and his son Case, and Cassie (Nate) Sadewasser of Iowa City and their children, Celia, Michael, and Tahlia; grandmother, Jeanette Delozier of Iowa City; and numerous extended family.

Raleigh was preceded in death by his parents; three grandparents, Ralph Delozier, Pauline Plank, and Red Yoder; and dog, Leona.
