Jessica A. Bielicke, 41, of North Liberty, died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson County.

Jessica’s family will greet friends Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road in Coralville, for a Celebration of Jessica’s Life.

Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson County.

Jessica was born January 25, 1977 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Fred and Susan (Cox) Hoots. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1995. In December 1998, Jessica graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and later attended graduate school at Florida State University. She married Matthew Bielicke July 16, 2005 in Altoona, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband Matt and their son Logan, both of North Liberty;
her parents, Fred and Susi Hoots of Altoona; in-laws, Larry and Evie Bielicke of Iowa City; sister, Jennifer Barna of Ft. Collins, Colorado; maternal grand-father, Don (Ruth) Cox of Jacksonville, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Shannon Bielicke of Tiffin and Amy (Justin Ward) of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Christopher Barna; niece Josephine Barna and Checkers the cat, at home.
