A chivari was given Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Miller in their new home recently. In turn the groom treated the crowd to an oyster supper.
Walter R. Hughes recently underwent a serious operation in the S.U.I. hospital.
Sharon Evangelical Sunday school last Sunday elected the following officers for the coming year. Supt. Oren Alt; Asst. Supt. Delbert Miller; Secy. Miss Marjorie Schwimley; Asst. Secy. Mrs. Woodrow Weeber; Treas. Glen Yoder; Pianist Mabel Yoder; Church trustee W.L. Snider; Parsonage trustee Wilson H. Miller.

Frank Shenk is the owner of a new terraplane car.
Mr. and Mrs. John Sleichter and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Maas and children, Mrs. Alice Maas and son Ivan, were Sunday dinner guests at the Harry Grout home.
Miss Ida Cavander and Mrs. Florence Hummer are numbered among the sick.

Kathy Grout is recovering nicely after having her tonsils removed in Iowa City Friday.
Jesse Grout is the proud owner of a Chrysler.
Tom Bailey entertained a few of his friends Wednesday. Those present were Ronnie Eichelberger, Terry TeBockhorst, Tom Bauer, Larry and Jim Grout and his brother, Kirk.
Mary Ruth Frank is spending her vacation at the parental Frank home.
Mr. and Mrs. Clair Grout, Larry and Judy spent Sunday at Paul Baileys.
