LAST RITES FOR MRS. J. PACHA

Mrs. Jacob PACHA, 93, passed away at her home on Tuesday afternoon near Pleasant Plain.

Funeral services were held this morning at 9:30 at St. Joseph's church in East Pleasant Plain and burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Father Paul Wetzstein was in charge.

Mrs. PACHA, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth FUKA BENDA, was born November 15, 1851, in Velka, Bohemia and came to the United States when she was eight years old. She married Jacob PACHA on September 20, 1870, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1935. There were 11 children born to this union of which six survive.

Survivors are five daughters; Bertha and Catherine, at home; Mrs. Elizabeth BENDA and Christina ANDRIK, both of Iowa City; and Mrs. Adam PECK and one son, Joseph A. PACHA both of near Pleasant Plain.

The body was taken to the F. A. Hoskins funeral home in Brighton.
