Mrs. DRISH, 61, Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Vincent DRISH, 61, Fairfield, passed away about 5 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA). Her death was sudden and unexpected.

Last rites will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic church with the Rev. O. F. DeCoursey and the Rev. Francis Henricksen officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.

Cecilia Irene DRISH was born Feb. 23, 1900 at Germanville in Jefferson county, the daughter of John and Emma STORTZ KURTZ.

She was united in marriage on Oct. 4, 1924, to Vincent DRISH who survives.

Other survivors include four sons: Ralph, Burlington; Paul, Ottumwa; Clement, Ashville, N.C.; and Kenneth, Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Survivors also include three sisters, Mrs. Walter PECK, East Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Don GOWEY, Brighton; and Mrs. Leonard FRITZ, Brighton; one brother, Leon KURTZ, Fairfield; several nieces and nephews.

The Rosary will be recited at the Raymond funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday.
