October 14, 1959 - November 25, 2020

Susan Putz, age 61 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. Private family services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020. The family will greet friends from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Susan and Marvin's House. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Pella and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Bill and Lois (Gragg) Musgrove, Susan was born on October 14, 1959 in Newton, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1978 and also a graduate from William Penn College. On June 24, 1978, she was united in marriage to Marvin Putz at the Methodist Church in Reasnor. Susan worked at Maytag and TPI in Newton for almost 20 years. She was a member of the Open Bible Church in Ankeny.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Marvin; three sons, Adam (Kate) Putz, Jason (Tiffany) Putz and Kent Putz; five grandchildren, Stella, Grant, Wyatt, River and Hazel; her mother, Lois Musgrove; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Van Waardhuizen and Connie (Dave) Hendricks; a brother, Rod (Vicky) Musgrove and several nieces and nephews.
