Patricia A. Johns Steines, 49, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at her home in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Friends and family may gather in remembrance of Patricia on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Patricia Ann Johns was born on October 23, 1968 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Thomas and Janet (Pray) Johns. She grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton schools. She married Barton Steines in 1997 in Clinton, Iowa.

Patricia had worked for TNT Restaurant in Maquoketa for several years and also as a private Certified Nurses Aide. She enjoyed arts and crafts, baking, her kitty cat "Bootsy" and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Heather Kohl of Maquoketa, IA, Robert Kohl of Clinton, IA, Justin (and fiance Taryn Bogart) Steines of Maquoketa, IA, Lanie (Jake) Mackin of Maquoketa, and Cheyenne (and fiance Blake Huskey) Vanderleest of Maquoketa, IA; 10 grandchildren; brothers, David Pray, James Johns, Jason Johns, Thomas Johns, and Joel Witting; and sisters, Tracy Jones and Laura Johns. She was preceded in death by her parents.
