James Butler 'Jim' Worrall, 10 Jul 1923 - 28 May 2022

James Butler Worrall of Green Forest, Arkansas passed away May 28, 2022, at the age of 98. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25 at the North English cemetery with Rev. Michelle Williamson officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Hills, PO Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72601. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.

James Butler Worrall was born July 10, 1923, in Aldrich, Minnesota to Bryce Walter and Ruth Fonda (Morrison) Worrall.

He was united in marriage with Ruth West on August 22, 1945. Jim was a World War II veteran, a welder, farmer, and carpenter. Jim and Ruth had a woodworking shop for many years in North English, Iowa. He was a member of the Green Forest Cowboy Church and American Legion.

Jim is survived by his daughter Pamela Robison of Mendota, Illinois; son Jeff (Rhonda) Worrall of Green Forest, Arkansas; granddaughters Dionne Harr of Iowa City, Iowa, Sydney (Adam) Woehler of St. Louis, Missouri and Krystal (Bradley) Parton of Berryville, Arkansas; one grandson Kristopher (Kayla) Worrall of Green Forest, Arkansas; twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; one brother Robert (Joan) Worrall of Indiana; two sisters Joyce McCullough of Iowa and Charlotte (Charles) Conger of Kansas; several nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruth Worrall; one son Ronald Worrall; three brothers Leighton Worrall, Keith Worrall and Bryce Worrall; two sisters Shirley Jones and Phyllis Lighty and one son-in-law Jack Robinson.
