In loving memory of Kathy Marie Slach who died June 10, 2022.

Kathy was born June 7, 1950 to Robert and Laura (Sexton) Slach. A lifelong resident of West Branch, she moved to a new home in Williamsburg, Iowa. Kathy graduated from West Branch High School and went on to earn AA at Kirkwood College and a BA from the University of Iowa. She served as a Business Manager for West Branch Schools for 20 years and ACT, Inc for 15 years. Kathy was busy serving as an officer with the West Branch Athletic Booster Club, PTA, Iowa Association of School Business Officials and a member of Phi Chapter, Delta Delta Delta sorority.

During her spare time, she enjoyed Reading, horseback riding, tending to her flower gardens, caring for her home. She loved to watch West Branch Bears Football, and the Iowa Hawkeye Football and Basketball teams. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her loving loyal Honeyboy.

Kathy is survived by daughter, Shannon Marie Hiner of Williamsburg, and son-in-law Al Hiner; grandaughter Devin Marie Bain and fiancee Colt Mather of Keswick, grandson Jake Truman Hiner of Williamburg, step-grandson Aidan Hiner of Williamsburg. Also surviving; Mother, Laura Slach of West Branch, brother, Scott Slach (Lisa) of Riverside, sister, Sandy Tuttle (Ted) of West Branch, brother, Dale Slach (Mindy) of West Branch, many nieces and nephews, extended family and cherished friends.

Preceded in death, father Robert Slach.
