I found an obit for Josie DOEHLA SCHMIDT, b. 24JAN1895 dau. of John H. DOEHLA and Regina ORDUNO DOEHLA Holstein, Ida Co., Iowa community; m. 26MAR1924 Harry SCHMIDT at Holstein; d. 14MAY1988 in Cherokee; res. whole life Holstein community; mem. St. John's Lutheran Church in Galva, Ida Co., Iowa.

Also found an obit for Harold Owen BRANDT, b. 16OCT1916 Cherokee, IA, d. 10AUG1997 Reno, NEV, m. 1JUN1938 Rona DOEHLA in Sioux City, Iowa.
