Licenses to wed were issued during the past week to Edwin Sayers and Anna Berehard and Hugh H. Thomas and Ida E. Haven.

THOMAS—HAVEN—At the home of D. W. Haven, near Lime Springs, Ia., on Wednesday, June 25, 1902, Mr. Hugh H. Thomas and Miss Ida E. Haven, Rev. C. W. Burgess, of Frankville, la., officiating.
The couple were attended by Herbert Haven, a brother of the bride, as groomsman, and Miss Belle Helmer, of Cresco, as bridesmaid. The wedding march was played by Miss Mure, of Lime Springs. The coouple{sic} taking their position for the ceremony under a canopy of white drapery trimmed with carnations and prepared under the supervision of the bride. :
The groom and his best man were garbed in conventional{sic} black, while the bride was most beautifully gowned in blue China silk with cream trimmings. The bridesmaid’s dress was of cream Lansdown silk trimmed in cream.
The wedding supper was served in tent on the lawn, 175 guests being served.
The wedding presents were numerous and valuable, testifying' to the esteem in which the young couple are held by a large circle of acquaintances. The PLAIN DEALER adds its congratulations.
