OBITUARY: Mt. Pleasant News - June 4, 1943
John B. Hull was born to Peter J. and Martha (Wilks) Hull November 15, 1867 and died June 1, 1943 at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 16 days. He was born in Trenton Iowa and spent most of his life in the Trenton community. He was married to Margaret Schadt, who preceded him in death August, 9, 1898. Two sons and one daughter were born to this union.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge for over fifty years.

He leaves to mourn his death two sons, Eber of Fairfield, and Frank of Trenton, and one daughter, Esther Hyde of Brighton; four grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eber Hull, and a son-in-law, John Hyde Jr., three nephews and two nieces and a host of friends and neighbors.
