John Henry Musser was born in Washington County, Iowa, near Crawfordsville April 15, 1886, and died at his home near Olds, Iowa April 19, 1906, age 20 years and 4 days. He spent the first six years of his life at his former home near Crawfordsville and the remainder at his late home where he died. He was educated in the district schools of Washington and Henry Counties and the Mt. Pleasant Academy at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

He leaves remaining to mourn his loss his mother, three sisters Mrs. Mike Miller, Mrs. Frank Miller of Olds, and Miss Margaret and Sam who are living at home. His father, two sisters, and one brother preceded him.

Funeral services were held on Sunday April 22 at Eicher church conducted by Rev. S. M. Musselman, assisted by Revs. Smith, Stuckey, and Graber.
