I have just come across a Walter Scott Loban, b Jun 1855, ,,IA, d. 12 Nov 1930, , Pennington, SD. I have no information, other than I am 99% certain he married Alice I. Bruce, b. Apr 1860, d. 13 Aug 1939, , Pennington, SD. I also 5 children from census data. I am interested primarily in Alice's line, as her mother was Mary Ann Pishion, who is a sister to my wife's great-great grandmother, Sarah Jane Pishion. I am sorry I cannot help much more with the Loban line, but could you at least confirm that Alice I. Bruce was in fact his wife? I came to that conclusion by deduction, since she is the only "Alice" on the 1880 census living in Delaware County Iowa, born abt 1860 (either in MI or IA) with father born in NY, mother born in ME), but I have not verified it.
