Keith Betts, 35, of Des Moines was killed instantly in a farm tractor accident Saturday, November 3, at 8:30 a m at his mother's farm south of Coon Rapids.
Funeral services were held Monday Novembr 5, at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids. Pastor Darryl Torrin officiated. Burial was in Union township cemetery.
Mrs. Curtis Franzeen was organist. Vocalists were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cretsinger. Casket bearers were Daryle Betts, Edward Cooper, Dave Conkel, Alvin Mikkelsen Raymond Betts and Rolland Betts.
Keith was employed at A-1 Pluming and Heating in Des Moines and also farmed in Guthrie county.
His parents were Robert and Helen McClintock Betts. He was born December 20, 1973, He graduated from the Guthrie Center high school.
He is survived by his mother, Helen; a brother, Dean of Des Moines; a son Brad, of Knob Noster, Mo. and his fiancée, Sylvia Wagaman of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his father.
