Elmer C Gardner passed away June 14 in the Veterans hospital in Des Moines after several weeks illness.

Born August 5, 1891 at Herndon, Elmer was a veteran of World War I. He was living in Des Moines at the time of his hospitalization.

Mr. Gardner is survived by two sisters, Mrs Winnie Gilliland of Bagley and Mrs. Josie Truax of Perry.

Funeral services were held June 16 from the funeral home in Panora. Burial was in the Richland township cemetery. Pall bearers were William Bullock, Oral Bullock, Donald Gardner, Raymond Remele, Donald Remele and Vernon Holmes.
