Golden Wedding at Dana
On Wednesday of last week over fifty relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. W.A. Anderson, of Dana gathered at their home to celebrate the anniversary of their Golden Wedding.
A sumptuous dinner was served at the noon hour, after which addresses were given by the Rev. Heddle, of Paton; Rev. Habliston of Dana, and Mr. R.G. Martin. The remainder of the day was spent in socialibility and reminiscenses of the events of the last half century that has passed.
After congratulations, many beautiful and useful gifts were given by their friends. Their children and families presented them with a phonograph and records.
One of the most prized gifts was a letter containing a gift from an aunt in Pennsylvania; Mrs. Glessinger, a lady past 97 years of age.
The gathering broke up later in the day with many wishes for the health and welfare of bride and groom for 50 years.
