Hello, My name is Richard Loomis and I live in Tulare,ca. My great-great grandfather was Ira Harrison Jr.(b. 1832). He was married to Louisa Dean. I would be very interested to see what you have researched on the Harrison family. Family focklore has it that they descended from WH Harrison, the President. I don't believe that this is true, but I would like to be proven wrong. I have a letter sent to my grandfather, Obed Ambrose Loomis from his aunt, Laura Edith Harrison Reams, in 1942. It mentions a family Bible handed down from Ira Harrison Sr. Do you know the whereabouts of this Bible? Please E-mail me @ oneman4jc@msn.com
