RE: HANCE CUMMING (1794-1888), 1852 Windsor Twp farmer (father-in-law to Thomas SWALE, also 1852 farmer of Windsor Twp). I am seeking a photograph of these ancestral grandfathers a descendant may have. These men may also have been in group photographs taken by the newspaper or by a private photographer in some Fayette County organization group-- agricultural society, old pioneers meetings, church groups, etc. They resided in Fayette county during the Civil War. Hance Cumming donated the land where Windsor #2 school stood, and probably attended the M.E. Church which met in the township. Their many descendants still reside in Fayette County, some still on the original land in Windsor Twp.
